What’s the difference between a brad nailer gun and a finish nailer gun? How about a framing nailer? Brad nailer guns use very small thin nails. Finish nailer guns use finish nails, which are larger than brads, but still slim with small heads. Framing nailers are used for heavy duty work such as joining 2×4’s or 2×6’s and, as you would expect, use large, heavy duty nails.
