Almost all nailer guns have some provision for controlling the force with which the nail is ejected. This adjusment allows you to control the depth to which the nail is sunk into the wood, so that it’s not either partially inserted or sunk below the surface. Some nailers require tools to make this adjustment while others can be set by hand. As you would expect, the latter will usually allow you to make the adjustment quicker. If you think you’ll be needing to frequently change the depth of adjustment when using your nailer gun, keep this in mind.
